The D-pad, main buttons, START, triggers, and primary analog stick retain normal Dreamcast operation.
The dual-analog version provides profiles, remapping, inversion, and individual dead-zone adjustment.
The display presents VMU content in monochrome, with color palettes, or with images prepared for Full Color Mode.
The menu shows battery, USB, SD card, and charging status. The power supply must provide regulated 5 V USB power.
Vibration, speaker, and microphone are built in. Microphone support on Dreamcast will be expanded in a future update.
The controller can be powered off through the menu or by continuing to hold START until 5 seconds have elapsed.
C and Z use touch sensors on the shoulders; the D button is activated by clicking the first analog stick.
Motion input can be assigned to Analog Stick 1 or 2 and used by compatible profiles.
Fun Mode runs classic systems directly on the display, using content organized on the microSD card.
New projects can take advantage of the display, extra buttons, second analog stick, microphone, and motion sensors.
